The only open water around my area is the large, deep lakes.
And across the street pond, he has a windmill attached to a water pump to keep it open all winter.

Ive noticed hundreds below some of the bigger dams. Chasin shad! Alot of local birds are usin the fields to sit. Dont know the lakes around you neck of the woods as fer the state lands go!
