FINALLY lake rupert ice!!!

my spot is real good on gills its a good walk to get back to it but we had a 5 gal bucket full of gills last year.. i wont do that again... we cleaned fish for HOURS!!!!

Here's an idea-- You get another full bucket and clean them , I'll take a few off your hands :D I know your like me, it will be nice to get out!!

i dont mind the eating part but the cleaning part is another story... i was mad to go out and check the ice but not be able to fish.. i went to downs to get wax worms and ended leaving with another frabill artice fire ice rod... best ice rod iv ever had in my hands and they sell for 30 bucks on the net and he has em for 21 bucks!!!! im now broke and calling in sick from work tomorrow :D

tom told me i didnt need it cause id be broke and he has plenty for me to use... but i already have 3 other rods i just loved my artice fire i had and thought i needed another one.... i made a promise to my self to buy at least one rod combo a year for ever... so i can take newbies with me.... cant wait to test my new tipups with my new jigs i made... we are gonna carry the shanty down the trail in the woods just so we can try it out.. the main lake's ice sucks but back in my spot its 4 inches and about a mile walk back in....

yea i love bass fishing but i die for ice fishing... my dad told me " YOUR NOT GOING TO WORK TO ONLY ICE FISH " i went off the handle!!!! lol i dont hunt so i dont call off work for nothing but sickness and ice fishing... and i only went 2 times last year because of work and iv got to much new stuff to use!! iv went over my stuff iv got set out 4-5 times !! and i keep adding to it.. i need to stop or i will never make the walk back there... iv got 10 pairs of gloves!!!! lol hate to have cold hands

OHHH OHHH... bout forgot.. when we was driving to the lake we passed 2 men and two kids hunting rabbits and stopped to talk and they were wating on dogs.. when we came out we stoped to talk again and the one guy looked and said move on there's something you dont need to see move one!!! what bull i was so mad....

just got back... i got 4 bass about a pound each and between me and tom we had about 40 gills kept 20 or so.... had a great time... went to alma and its scary... ( and people have been fishing it)

found it on my map, clear down in the boonies, you ever fish lake hope? I camped there in Oct, went to paul bunyun festivle, it looked like a good lake to ice fish

hmmm never iced it love it in the spring!!! lots of big bass ... hmmm you know its never crossed my mind to ice fish... you got my mind going now.... thanks! i dont know the lake for pan fish though.. and the bass are way in the back... good walk....

crazy thing just happened .. buckeye tom just called me from work and said god told him lake hope and he thought lake hope would be great and i told him you just asked me about it.. WE ARE GONNA MAKE A TRIP possibly monday
