Go to www.costaricaecotours.com this is the home site for the Crocodile Bay Lodge, a lot of my fishing buddies in Los Angeles speak highly of this establishment and tours...I would recommend bringing some light line outfits with you. A conventional reel (Daiwa SL30SH or Penn Jigmaster) with 20-40lb test line and a 6.5'-7' rod. Also, bring a spinning outfit with a Daiwa emcast plus reel or Shimano baitrunner reel and load it with 17-30lb. test line, the rod should be 7'. The spinning outfit can also be used from shore as there are roosterfish out there that are treacherous and some of them can reach 70 plus pounds. Bring some Gamakatsu live bait hooks in the 1/0-5/0 range, 3/0-4/0 should be the most used. If you want, you can also bring some fish traps or big hammer soft plastics with shad jigheads in the 1/2-1oz. range. Color should be in sardine, blue/clear, or dorado and bring some Krocodile spoons with you in the green/chrome and blue/chrome colors. Topwater lures are a must as well. Good luck and hope this finds you good luck on a big sail or rooster.

P.S. Marlin may be slow at that time and you would need to go offshore for them. Large gear would be best if you want to target them.
