Whats the earliest you guys and gals have gone out and done good? We always wait until after turkey season. I have learned that we seem to always get some of our biggest of the year during our first few trips. Last year we got two over 40 lb on the first trip. Got the itch, cant wait.

You can find them right after ice out, You can find them in the shallows in coves and flats.

You can do well now. And as you alluded to it seems bigger fish come early . Do you mind sharing where you shot those 40's at? Body of water wise , not necessarily looking for a specific spot or nothing

My buddy and I went out last night first trip out we shot 4 over 32 lbs. Our biggest is 36 last year late in June. Wanting to target Gar any info on lakes other than Lake Erie area? We have some great pics but I havent figured out how to post the pics on the site.

We got them at mosquito.I live next to mosquito lake. Few years ago when we started there was only a few guys w boats there. Now it's not in common to have four or five out on calm nights . Doesn't found like alot but the lake isn't that big. We are thinking of heading towards pa waters this year.

its not really that big I dont think I would have a problem going out if it was my first time there. I dont have a boat but I go out there and wade during the day
