welcome to the forum. where do you plan to fish on erie?? do you have your own ride, or planning to fill some open seats?? either way erie is a good place to catch eyes. if this mild weather hold it wont be long until the jig bite starts on erie. i have never fished the jig bite myself. but im thinking about trying a charter for them this year, once it gets to going. then the fish move off the reefs and you can drift and cast or you can troll the western basin. then alot of the fish start there move to the east. you can just follow them east or stay and catch the ones in the western basin. there is a great thread going around right now on drifting and casting by one of the charter guys. you might want to read it and maby even ask a couple of questions.

Welcome to the site. Erie Walleye are a great experience. I even moved when I retired. Now I am 15 minutes from the lake.

Walleye:
NOUN; One of the great lakes fish. ADJ; The look on an Eire angler's face when he has been off the water too long.
