With all the recent rains i have been finding a bunch of mushrooms growing around my yard which im assuming are no good to eat and dont plan on eating them anyways.
My question is would it be ok to add them into my garden and use for compost ?

What other things other than the obvious do you use for compost ?

At work our vending company gives me the coffee grounds from the machines and seems to do wonders for the soil.

Any other tips ?

i clip all the leafs off my pepper plants and add grass clippings and a few bushels of leaves. i also put in a 50 lb. bag of lime dust then till the garden. during the winter i add whatever i can from the house coffee grounds, fruit and veggie scraps and whatever else i can. it is good to add sand to your garden. about every 3 years i put in 10 five gallon buckets of sand my garden is about 400 square feet.
