Het Fest Weather

Man, I feel sad for those guys who went to Turtle Creek this weekend due to the bad weather so far this weekend, and still forecasted! Esp. for the ones who couldn't get up there before the weekend since there were some nice days Wed thru Fri. evening. Well, anyway, as I write this, here in NE Oh. the skies are clearing, wind dying, and the sun is trying to shine. Hope they can get out and jig up a couple 'eyes and stay dry for a bit! Hope also, that the guessers! are wrong for the remainder of the weekend. Couldn't quite get my act together to go, maybe a good thing? Was there couple years ago, some really great fishing to be had(weather permitting), good company, and eats.

c.j. Don't feel sad for those of us that went. It was a great time with great friends. even got some fishing in Sat morning. The food was great and great company.

The wind was brutal. Glad my guys got some great fishing in Thursday, but wish the weather would have been better for the weekend. We woke up this morning to very strong west winds, and I headed east for home.

We had a better turnout than I expected for the cookout last night, with approximately thirty people, maybe more. Went through a forty pack of burgers, and three packs of dogs. Nice to spend some time with the die hards, Kohouty and his crew, Wandering Eyes, Boatnut, Big Ugly and wife, and the wonder dog Spot, Big Walleye, and many more.

Thanks to all that braved the wind and weather, those that brought a dish, and those that helped out.

The best part was all the boat maint. classes going on. lol;) I will post some pics of Kens impeller job.:p
