spring jigging

I've done a lot of summer trolling out of lorain, ashtabula, geneva, conne, the last couple years. I have wanted but hav'nt got to do any spring jigging. Would like to learn before i attempt for myself. Any suggestions on charters-or open seats to come along on any trips. Your boat or mine. Just want to learn. Check out the OGF fest in April (HETFEST thread in the main Lake Erie forum). Best jig fishing on the reefs, and plenty of advice to go around. Fish will teach you what they want.
