Can anybody give me an update on the eye fishing and gill fishing on this upland lake. Looking at taking my dad out this weekend. Will be in a boat. Yes I know that it is trolling motor only.

Hey Dandi, I haven't fished it this year but in the past we would troll crankbaits about 5-10 yards from the shore at night for eyes. Also there is some BIG cats there, we would catch gills right before dusk and then drift the lake with gills as bait.

Eyes have just started to pick up with this cold front on us. Picked up 4 this morning on hotandtots perch color. Try running bottom bouncers and big willow leaf
