scotio trail state park

thinking about going to scotio trail for the weekend. anyone have any pics of the campground? i have never been the there. is there showers? hows the bank fishing? thanks

I grew up pretty close to scioto trail. We used to go there all the time. It's been a while since I've been there so I'm not going to speak about the showers and stuff, the link to the DNR site should help you there.

I can speak for bank fishing access though because it most likely hasn't changed too much. There are two small lakes. They both trails that circumnavigate them with lots of bank access. We used to catch fair amounts of channel cats, bluegill, and to a lesser degree largemouth from the bank a few years back. They are both man made lakes and the 'dam' on both is pretty apparent. Fish structure around the deeper water near the dam, they should be the most productive places this time of year.
