Im just curious what variety sweet corn everyone likes to plant. Dad planted northern extra sweet and didnt mount to much. Dad used to plant illini extra sweet but, had a hard time getting it to come up. I planted "gotta have it" and it turned out great! My uncle and cousin planted serendippety? I ve had it once and did not think it was very sweet. we like the fact that northern extra sweet and gotta have it mature about a week appart, but if its not gonna produce?? Just thought I would get some ideas for dad.
