Ok i figured i would start doing something productive with my down time so i want to start making my own lures. Cranks, plugs, etc. Any advice on where to find lure kits? I would like to start with pre made bodies that i can assemble and paint in my own vision and then move on to carving my own bodies later on down the road when i have a little experiance under my belt.
Any ideas?

Try "Jann'snetcraft" it's an Ohio company that carries a great assortment of kits.

I would urge you to take a look at another great forum:

Just select the Hard Baits forum and read up or ask questions.

If you can find it Backwoodsman Magazine had an article not too long ago where the author was making lures out of all sorts of household junk.
