$10 Entry All Species Tournament- Tappan Lake- 9:00AM-2:00PM
**Registration Will Start at 8:00AM at Cripple Creek Bait and Tackle (Directions Below)
$10 Entry per angler, 5-fish Limit - Total Weight, ALL Species Included.
Payback 100%:
1st- 60%
2nd- 25%
3rd- 15%
Wife/Husband/Partners/Family Teams Permitted as long as in the same boat, or in the same bankspace.
Only 5 fish total weighed in per paying registered participant or team.
The tournament is broken down into 4 catagories for entry, all of which will have seperate pots. Anglers may choose to fish for the following:
1.Bass
2.Panfish (Crappie, Bluegill, White Bass)
3.Saugeye/Walleye
4.Catfish/Carp
Participants will chose which catagory the choose to fish for upon registration. The $10 per angler entry fee is broken down as follows: $7.00 towards the pot of the species you intend to fish for, and $3.00 for the single biggest (any species) fish caught pot. This tournament is designed for fun and not strict competition. We encourage all members to fish, and look forward to seing you at the scales! Tournament Rules are as follows:
Tournament Times, Registration, and Rules
-Sign up for the tournament will be at Cripple Creek Bait & Tackle shop.
-Sign up will start at 8:00 AM.
-Entry is $10.00 per person.
-Tournament will start at 9:00 and end at 2:00.
-No body will be permitted to start before the 9:00 starting time. Doing so will disqualify you.
-One of the OGF staff members will start the tournament.
-All contestants must be at the weigh in site by 2:00. Anyone late will not be permitted to weigh their fish.
-We will have someone at the scales all day to allow you to weigh your catch and release it if you choose not to keep it.
-All bass must be at least 12” long.
-We will have a board to check your fish. Any bass brought in less than 12” will not be weighed.
-There is a max. of 5 fish per person allowed. Any species.
-Anyone that throws a dead fish out will be disqualified. If the fish dies, bring it in, we will find someone to take it.
-Live bait may be used to catch any species of fish.
-Two rods maximum per person.
-No more than two hooks per line, except when using artificial baits.
-No pre- baiting or chuming permitted 3 days before the tournament.
-All fish must be taken legally by hook and line.....NO EXCEPTIONS.
-Each group of fish you choose to fish for will have a separate pay back. You may fish for more than one group, but you will have to pay for each group.
-Each group will also have a pay back for the largest fish caught in that category.
-Each person must choose the fish they want weighed for their biggest.
-Only one fish may be weighed for the biggest fish.
-No one will be permitted to exchange or give someone their fish, If you catch it you must be the person to weigh it. You will be permitted to assist children (under 12 years of age) that are fishing with you.
-WE encourage anyone in a boat to wear the life vest at all times for safety. Children must wear them as per the law for certain ages. Why not wear yours?
If at anytime during the tournament you have a question see one of the OGF staff members. We will be there to help and assist you. If at anytime you have a problem on the water call Shakedown or DaleM on their cell phone. We will have a boat out to assist you. Kids Games to Be Held at Event After Cookout
Hosted by: Fishinchick and Gill Girl
1.) Egg Carry. Carry an egg with a spoon, out around the cone. 1st one back w/o dropping their egg wins.
2.) Waterballoon Toss. We will have a series of water baloons. We will have all of the kids toss balloons back and forth. 1 toss 1 direction, then back. Take 2 steps further. 1 toss, then toss back. When someone's balloon bursts, they are out. We keep doing this until it comes down to 2 people. Winner of those 2 wins.
3.) 3-Legged Race (Need adult partner). Will run out around cone and back. 1st one in is winner.
4.) Sack Hop. Each kid will get a burlap sack. We will have them hop out and around the cone. 1st one back is the winner.
5.) Mummy Wrap. Split teams into two. Give each team 2 rolls of toliet paper. One person tries to turn the other into a mummy. Everything has to be covered except the eyes. First team done wins
OTHER NON PRIZE GAMES:

Casting Competition- Cast a bass jig (Minus the hook) into a target. Closest one to the center out of 5 casts wins.
Each child (ages 5-12) are welcome to play in the games. They will need 1 adult partner for the 3-legged Race. Prizes will be as follows:
1st Place in Top 5 Games- $5.00 (each child can only win 1st place once, in all games. If a prior winner wins a second game, the 2nd place winner of that game will win the $5.00, etc. We want as many children as possible to receive some sort of prize. Keeps their spirits up!)
Each Child that participates will receive a zip-loc bag of goodies (IE: Candy, Gum, Etc.) We don't want ANYONE to be left out!
We will also hold a drawing for the kids. We have a few small prizes (Couple of kids soft side coolers, kids stool, couple of kids rod outfits, etc.), and will give kids that participate in the games a ticket to draw for those prizes AFTER the games complete.
There's only two things we ask of our members and families attending the event...for each person to bring a canned good to the outing, which will all be given to Ohio charities on behald of our entire OhioGamefishing.com members and family. We also ask that you HAVE A GREAT TIME!.

Games for Kids with prizes! (ages 5-12)
Kids Games to Be Held at Event After Cookout
Hosted by: Fishinchick and Gill Girl
1.) Egg Carry. Carry an egg with a spoon, out around the cone. 1st one back w/o dropping their egg wins.
2.) Waterballoon Toss. We will have a series of water baloons. We will have all of the kids toss balloons back and forth. 1 toss 1 direction, then back. Take 2 steps further. 1 toss, then toss back. When someone's balloon bursts, they are out. We keep doing this until it comes down to 2 people. Winner of those 2 wins.
3.) 3-Legged Race (Need adult partner). Will run out around cone and back. 1st one in is winner.
4.) Sack Hop. Each kid will get a burlap sack. We will have them hop out and around the cone. 1st one back is the winner.
5.) Mummy Wrap. Split teams into two. Give each team 2 rolls of toliet paper. One person tries to turn the other into a mummy. Everything has to be covered except the eyes. First team done wins

Casting Competition- Cast a bass jig (Minus the hook) into a target. Closest one to the center out of 5 casts wins.
Each child (ages 5-12) are welcome to play in the games. They will need 1 adult partner for the 3-legged Race. Prizes will be as follows:
1st Place in Top 5 Games- $5.00 (each child can only win 1st place once, in all games. If a prior winner wins a second game, the 2nd place winner of that game will win the $5.00, etc. We want as many children as possible to receive some sort of prize. Keeps their spirits up!)
Each Child that participates will receive a zip-loc bag of goodies (IE: Candy, Gum, Etc.) We don't want ANYONE to be left out!
We will also hold a drawing for the kids. We have a few small prizes (Couple of kids soft side coolers, kids stool, couple of kids rod outfits, etc.), and will give kids that participate in the games a ticket to draw for those prizes AFTER the games complete.
There's only two things we ask of our members and families attending the event...for each person to bring a canned good to the outing, which will all be given to Ohio charities on behald of our entire OhioGamefishing.com members and family. We also ask that you HAVE A GREAT TIME!.

Tappan Lake is just SE of Cripple Creek Bait and Tackle, on the South side of US 250. The tournament will launch from the Main Marina area, midway across the lake. The marina is on the N side of the lake……so if you are heading East on 250, the entrance will be on your left. If you are heading West, the entrance will be on your right.
