Went out to West Branch today from 12pm until 5pm. Tried jigging for walleye on a flat next to a big drop off with no walleye to show for it. Hooked a couple small channels with one nice one that went 18 1/2in. The water is muddy and the water at the ramp isn't too bad. I lanched at the state ramp down from the Rock Springs road bridge and it was about mid calf of water to wade. But the ramp dips down for a few feet by the shore so it's not bad at all. I've never really fished that lake too much but I am going to keep at it because it has some good structure. If anyone has any tips I'll be open for any suggestions. I'm going to hit Mogadore Weds. afternoon then Mosquito sunday afternoon so I'll post how I did.
