An introduction to the importance of flow to stream communities

The Nature Conservancy Ohio Program (TNC)

TNC has been working to develop a quantitative model correlating flow to stream community health (and that includes a great many of Ohio's fine smallmouth bass, you lot!). The results to date are quite interesting. The ultimate goal is to see the model implemented by state management agencies and stream flow considered in stream management decisions.
