[Shortdrift]

Hit Ruggles with Misfit and fished for smallmouth as it was rough inshore and very rough offshore. Finally found the fish in the mudline and 16/17fow. Hooked up on 11 smallmouth and 1 sheepshead. Only boated three of the smallmouth. All fish came on gold Vib-e. Here is a 6 pound 4 ounce beauty which was the first fish we caught.

the pic doesn't do that fish justice.that was one big football.i'll send pics tomorrow,as i left the camera in the garage and i'm too beat and lazy to make the short trip after it :eek:

Thats one really nice looking smallie. I may head up there next weekend. I was considering going this weekend, but looks like the weather isnt going to let that happen.

Beautiful fish guys, that 6.4 would be a fish of a lifetime for alot of folks. Goes to show that wind and chop are not always a bad thing.
