Thats very interesting, sure are neat looking things but sound awfully bad for the environment.
neat fish, like a bowfin on crack. My buddy had two in his aquarium, nothing i've ever seen compares to their eating habits.

.i loved having my snakeheads, which are very cool fish.most of those sold for aquarium use are speices which can not survive our ohio climate.the only species that should be banned for enviorment reasons is the Channa argus(northern snakehead)which is found in china and can survive low temps and winters, and was the species that was dumped in the Md ponds.other species such as redlines, cobras, dwarfs, ect should all be legal.
and this ''they will eat anything and walk across land''
non sense is crazy.they are about the equal to our
pikes and muskies, just look like bowfins.they just busted
a NE ohio store days ago for haveing a few large fish
that were redlines, not argus the dangerous one.
but no lets reck it for the fish keepers  by outlawing
all channa species.

Not to sound dumb, but what exactly is the negetive impact of these snakeheads? I heard on the news that they are going to drain the lake that they found these in, and I have never heard of them other then in an aquarium.
So what is the big deal about them? Anyone?

They will eat everything in sight. EVERYTHING. CATKING
