I don't know what it is but I like to fish in bad weather. I have caught some of my biggest walleyes in not so good conditions. The walleye seem to like the messed up coniditions to hunt around and ambush their prey. I had a chance to get out tonight with Jared and Scott (Sellfish) to do some late night fishing.
Man was the wind tough to hold the boat straight and hold a good trolling speed. I had ahold of the wheel the whole night with the exception to set my lines and reel in my fish. Then throw in some driving rain and the conditions were perfect!

It was slow for us at the start and then we got into some real nice fish. We only caught 4 fish but two were over 10 pounds and one was close to twelve. Sellfish hung this hawg for the last fish of the night. It was 30-1/8" and unofficially pushing 12 pounds!
Jared got one close to 10 -1/2 pounds and I managed one in the 10.2 ish pound range. We we get them officially weighed later today. It was like hitting cards on the river and I am sure we were lucky to get those bites.
I wanted to add this fish also. Last week I was fishing with JIG (Bob) and he got this 10.25 pound steelie. I did not get a chance to post it. It was a beautiful fish that could not be released do to bad bleeding.
Thanks guys it was alot of fun! Off to get my two hours of sleep before heading into work!
