anyone know what kind of lure this is?
I found this and the paint has come off a little. It is definitely a balsa wood lure. I kinda thought it looked like a lucky craft, but I don't know crank baits that well. I hoped some of the experts might know

Looks a lot like the no name $1.97 lures you can get a Walley World in the spring from the box on the bottom shelf. If it is, they work just fine.

if its balsa its not lucky craft. lucky craft doesnt use balsa because of the consistancy in its action. also lucky craft marks all of there baits with the model name on the belly.

At first I thought it was a bevyshad 75 because of the shape and the bill, but there is red under the gill and not the signature y shape behind the eye. I assumed it was balsa wood, and the paint is missing underneath, but am pretty sure it's not lucky craft for the reasons stated above. I got excited, because of the profile and gill detail, but have accepted that it was excitement. Still if anyone knows what it is it would be cool

I bought 3 of them from the Wal-Mart bargain bin but they're not balsa. The package said Cotten Cordell.

another thing that usually stands out with lucky craft is the split ring that you tie your line to. lucky crafts are normally oval shaped.

I pulled one I bought out of tackle box... It is definately Cotton Cordell. In the spring Walmart usually has a big box of them and other lures on the bottom shelf. In my local store, they usually only put out 2 boxes the entire season. I think they were $1.97.

Yeah I actually bought a lucky craft, and after seeing it, I don't know what I was thinking with this lure. Thanks for the info.
